They appear to be the only options outside of Honda, Yamaha, Kipor that have a parallel setup. I couldn’t resist the price on the 2800. $745 with free shipping. The features I liked were the price, electric start, weight, wheels, 3 year warranty, and of course the store! If I dont like it or it doesn’t work out, I can return it to my local Depot. If its not enough power, I can get a second one, and connect them in parallel and up to have 5600W. I thought it was cool, that the different wattages could be connected via parallel, so for just $400 more I can add an extra 1KW to my 2800. I would love to have bought the 3300, but they were out of stock. I’ll give my feedback of what I think of the unit in a few days, it should be here on Friday. Though to be fair, I dont have anything else to compare it to. I’m curious if someone else out there has tried one of these. I’m going to try this one out, if I don’t like I can I always return it to the store for my money back. I did a bit of research, and there isn’t much to find. One place I read that the LIFAN company actually makes the Kipor engines. ? I have a 3000iS, and for roughly 1/3 the price, it looks like a great deal. Unfortunately, they seemed to have skimped on the plug options…only a single 120 20amp plug on the unit, but, still…has a lot going for it, parallel built in, auto idle, electric start, fairly light weight (compared to my 3000). You could buy two of them and still be hundreds less money than a single EU3000iS (sigh…). Have to see what he reports upon receipt of his, wish him good luck!
